Toyota places focus on sustainable mobility at the Tokyo Motor Show

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) placed its focus on sustainable mobility and the demonstration of future technologies at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show late in October under the theme of: “Harmonious Drive – a New Tomorrow for People and the Planet”.

Through its Tokyo Show exhibit, TMC showcased its pursuit of the essential appeal of the motor car – that of being fun to drive and a pleasure to use – and provided an insight to its approach of making sustainable mobility a reality where people can co-exist in harmony with the environment.

To this end the company displayed concept vehicles catering for motoring needs as diverse as compact urban transport solutions through to an environmentally friendly high-performance sports car.
