Crown Hybrid

The Crown Hybrid concept features Toyota’s latest hybrid drive system together with Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) for advanced driving, environmental, and safety performance. This comes in the form of a next generation luxury sedan.

The Crown Hybrid features the THS II system (Toyota Hybrid System) which has a two-stage motor speed reduction system that assists in achieving a remarkably smooth acceleration characteristic. Together with this comes a high level of fuel efficiency, and a low level of exhaust emissions.

The driver is kept informed of the state of the vehicle by means of a TFT (Thin Film Transistor) LCD “Finegraphic Meter” in an easy to see and easy to understand manner.

The VDIM system contributes to excellent vehicle stability and a high level of preventative safety with active steering control to achieve an optimal balance between drive, power, steering, and braking.

A full complement of 10 SRS airbags provides outstanding occupant protection.
